About Dr. Delores Hendrix-Giles
Dr. Delores Hendrix-Giles (AKA Dr. DHG) is the founder of Evolution Quest, PLLC and a licensed clinical social worker who specializes issues related to concepts of strength, burnout, identity, caregiving, and boundaries. In addition to the general psychotherapy needs of the community, women’s issues are an important area of her specialization.
She holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston, TX and a Doctor of Social Work from Simmons University in Boston MA. With over 25 years for experience as a mental health professional in clinical, administrative, and collegiate settings, she has developed clinical expertise working with adults in all aspects mental health care. Dr. DHG has also spent a portion of her career training and developing clinical social workers. She has a rich repertoire of knowledge, experience, and skills to substantiate her abilities as a therapist. Additionally, Dr. DHG has targeted knowledge in cultural sensitivities and health equity, particularly with those who wrestle with gender, power, generational, or racial issues imposed by structural and societal forces.
